Biography

Ana Maria is an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion consultant, coach, facilitator, and speaker, also a member of the Standards Council of Canada (SCC). Co-founding Ventura Collective with Linda Espinosa Valencia, a Latine women-owned consulting organization, they focus on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) initiatives. Certified in ISO 30415:2021, they partner with organizations to embed JEDI principles in their business.

Active in promoting ISO standards globally, Ana Maria holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and coaching certificates from Concordia University, with additional training in Women in Leadership, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion from Cornell University and the University of Georgia. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, she's adept in sales, training, and working with diverse organizations.

Ana Maria is passionate about building communities, genuine connections, and supporting equity-focused organizations. She values accountability, direct communication, courage, and lifelong learning and brings a blend of professional expertise and personal experiences to her work.
