Genesis Rivera has spent her professional career working towards social change and fighting for equity within underrepresented communities. Genesis has a background in Political Science and Sociology which, combined with her CDP certification, allow her to bring unique insights into her specialty areas including supporting leadership teams on their journeys to navigate, promote, and build inclusive environments. She has dedicated much of her time to non-profit organizations, including the NAACP, and coordinating aid for smaller areas of Puerto Rico on the front lines of climate change. Genesis uses those experiences to inform her work with Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations, training DEI facilitators, marketers, and recruiters, and helping teams of all sizes to better reflect on their current processes, question their assumptions and better utilize their teams to encourage their organizations' growth. She efficiently supports teams in implementing practices to bridge generational and experience gaps in the workplace. She has created several skill-building trainings including but not limited to Allyship Series, Generational Differences in the Workplace, and Leading From Behind: Timeless Talents from the Civil Rights Era.
